Description
Why is the climate changing, what are the consequences, and what can society do in response? This course explores the science of climate change and its impacts on ecosystems, economies, and communities around the world. Students will examine evidence from the Earth’s past and present, evaluate solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to change, and develop the skills needed to make informed decisions in a rapidly changing world.
