Description

Through engaging with a selection of analytical, historical, archival, and fictional texts that provide context, this course is an in-depth exploration of the various processes that led to the construction of Brazil’s capital city. Readings and discussions in English; students may opt to register for a C-LAC component in basic Portuguese language. Elective credit for LALIS major/minor granted only with completion of a corresponding C-LAC component.
