Selection of readings and conversational practices in Spanish from the medical and health care fields with a professional, historical, linguistic and cultural perspective focused on Spanish speaking communities will form the basis of this course. LAIS 300-309 are Spanish language courses and, therefore, are generally not open to students with very advanced Spanish proficiency. Contact the professor for cases requiring special permission.
