Development of aural, oral, and written communication skills through the study of a specific theme and its manifestations in the Spanish-speaking world. Special attention will be given to the discussion of social, cultural, historical, political, and linguistic aspects that are implicated in the specific theme. LAIS 300-309 are Spanish language courses and, therefore, are generally not open to students with very advanced Spanish proficiency. Contact the professor for cases requiring special permission.
