This class is about food, taste, good eating, manners, hunger, globalization, power, and more! We start our food journey by discussing anthropological theories on food and then move to a range of topics including the histories of corn and sugar, food activism, advertising, and farm to table initiatives. The class includes cooking demonstrations, tastings, and field trips.
